Partnering with Universify Education

By partnering with Universify schools send up to 4 Year 10 students on our year-long programme as we seek to raise their educational aspirations, school attainment and likelihood of making a successful application to a highly selective university.

We are looking for Year 10 students from non-selective state schools, who meet our eligibility criteria to join our programme.

If your school would like to partner with Universify and send students on our programme we will need a teacher from your school to become a lead teacher.

‘Before I was dead set on not going to a university. When I came here that changed my mind. There’s just so much you can do.’ Universify Student, Ark King’s Academy, Birmingham

What does being a lead teacher involve?

Lead teachers are asked to distribute materials about the programme to prospective students, help students apply to the programme and act as a point of contact between the school and Universify. The teachers we worked with told us that they would be happy to act as the point of contact again and found the whole process as painless as possible. We try and do as much work as we can so that you don’t have to.

‘Universify’s residential is a brilliant idea, which has had an immense impact on the students who took part. They returned buzzing with excitement and totally in awe of Oxford University. The residential was planned with great care to the students’ needs and the communication was faultless.’ Malla Barghav, lead teacher, Ark Academy Boulton, Birmingham
